As you prepare for birth, your background, beliefs, knowledge, hopes and fears all shape your experience and decisions. As your Certified Birth Doula I help create the space for a calm, loving, remarkable birth, respecting your unique journey so you can give birth on your own terms. My approach to doula work is much like my approach to motherhood. I encourage awareness and self-confidence, help you make informed choices, and I help smooth the rough spots with love, encouragement and comfort.
Let Me Introduce Myself
I am mother of three amazing children, who taught me the beauty and power of birth and motherhood. Starting with my first pregnancy, I became obsessed with learning about the birthing process – emotional, physical, and cultural. As my children have now become young adults, I finally have created the space and built my knowledge base to allow birthing to be my calling.
I am grateful and honored that families, like yours, bring me into their birthing circle.

"Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with, and to see not only what we are truly made of, but the strength we can access in and through Birth."

"Tracy is very passionate about the birth process and is an excellent communicator with unique ways to get my partner and I to open up. "I try to picture what this 24+ hour labor would have been like without Tracy and I dread the thought. She brought relief and humor to a weary team - and we really felt like a team, with Tracy having a natural feel for when to head it up and when to lay back. She had ideas to help open my mind and body and rolled with us like water."
"Tracy was amazing for a very complicated labor and a first-time mother."
